A little bit about us!
We are the leading business membership organisation in Forth Valley and part of the worldwide long-established Chamber of Commerce brand. We have over 200 members who between them employ thousands of people across Falkirk, Clackmannanshire and Stirlingshire. We work hard to help provide members with the business connections and opportunities they need to flourish.
We run over 40 events per year with more than 1,000 attendees and share over 100 news items each month for members on our website & social media, giving a widespread audience reach across all of our digital channels.
We believe that a strong business community is essential to the economic prosperity of Forth Valley. We lead the connections & experiences to build businesses by promoting the private sector, enabling businesses to attract and retain talented people and ensure that our region is seen as an innovative and ambitious place to prosper.
There are three areas where Forth Valley needs to be active on members’ behalf or providing a service to them; either delivered by Forth Valley directly or through partnership working:
• connecting them (within and between sectors)
• campaigning/lobbying and influencing locally and nationally
• promoting Forth Valley locally, nationally and internationally.
Currently the team of 5 are working a combination of in the office and remotely, and as such we have adapted our services to ensure we remain as relevant as possible to our members. Our virtual events and international services remain a strong part of our day-to-day activities.
