The Regional Food Fund offers grants of up to £5,000 to support projects and initiatives that promote the development of food and drink across Scotland. The funding is aligned to the Food Tourism Scotland Action Plan and is part of the Scotland Food & Drink Partnership’s Recovery Plan, supported by Scottish Government.
The deadline for applications is 5pm, Monday 15 March.
The fund is specifically aimed at collaborative projects that:
Contribute to the food and drink sector’s recovery from Covid-19
Contribute to the promotion and sales of regional produce
Develop food tourism
Benefit a region or community, not just one business
Can be delivered by 31 December 2021
Who can apply?
To be considered for the Regional Food Fund, the project or initiative must be based in Scotland and be completed before 31 December 2021. It’s likely to be:
A regional or community group (both rural and urban)
An individual business in the food and drink sector, including primary producers, who is applying on behalf of a collaborative group or project
A passionate food and drink advocate working with and applying on behalf of a collaborative group or project
