New Travel Industry Funding - VisitScotland

Earlier this afternoon, VisitScotland announced that a further £15 million of funding will be made available to help Scottish businesses who promote and sell package holidays to Scotland or day tours here. Both funds are being delivered by VisitScotland and more details on each can be found below:


  • A new fund – the Scotland Day Tour Operators - COVID-19 Business Support and Continuity Fund has been created, in order to help more Scottish based businesses in the tour operator sector, with applications for this fund going live on the 4th of March at noon.


  • Meanwhile, the scope of the financial support for the Scotland Inbound Tour Operators – COVID-19 Business Support and Continuity Fund criteria has been widened, with applications for this fund going live on the 25th of February at midday.
