New Chamber Appointments

We are delighted to have made two new appointments to further strengthen the team. Margaret Mary Rafferty joins us as International Trade Mission Manager. Margaret Mary was instrumental in helping to make our first two virtual missions to the US a huge success, she now joins us on a part-time basis to lead all our future virtual and hopefully over time in market missions. Many of you will know Margaret Mary from local organisation Ceteris where she was MD for 27 years. Margaret Mary studied French and Russian language at University and worked for the Foreign and Commonwealth office for a number of years.

We are also delighted to announce the appointment of Carl Hodson to the Chamber Board as Non-Executive Director. Carl has very recently joined Ceteris as Managing Director having been the CEO for the Fife visual impairment charity seescape and previously Executive Director at Aberdeen based Glencraft. The award-winning MD was presented with the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in both the Scottish and UK wide social enterprise categories in 2013. Then in 2014, his leadership led the Glencraft Team to 4 regional Trades Awards: including Best Regional Business & The Northern Star Award for Business Diversity. Carl has also been a board member of Fife and Aberdeen & Grampian Chambers.
