Forth Valley Chamber at the Tartan Week Parade

Our Forth Valley Chamber team smashing it walking in the Tartan Day Parade, NYC!!

Over 4 days, 14 exciting and innovative Scottish companies took NYC by storm and they never stopped! Over 50 business meetings and many, many positive connections and conversations made between the delegation, yup it's been a success!

A fantastic week has been topped off marching in the Tartan Day Parade! An immensely proud moment for our President, Lynn Blaikie, to be standing with all the businesses and fellow Scotland ambassadors Scottish Business Network.

Our enormous thanks to Julie Duncan for allowing us to host our opening event at Glasgow Caledonian New York College along side the incredible Oscar Marzaroli Art Exhibition, we could not have asked for a more fitting start to our NY Trade Mission! You made us feel so welcome and we were all so proud to be collaborating with you and supporting each other during such an important week!

Our thanks too to Gwen Raez and her team VisitScotland for letting us be part of pop-up Scotland House.

Ian Houston you've been instrumental in supporting and helping us too! We look forward to developing our business connections and conversations in the coming weeks and months.

To all our businesses who take part in the NY Trade Mission, huge and special thanks! You all took time out of your extremely busy lives to join our first ever in-person trade mission and really didn't know what it would hold but judging by the buzz and energy throughout the week it's been a success!

Tartan Week 2022 is only the beginning, we still have much to do and we want our relationship with NYC and the US to continue and blossom as we now have so much to build on, roll on 2023!
