Time & Location
About the event
CityFibre is investing over £12million to deliver new full fibre infrastructure within Stirling, enabling local businesses to be at the forefront of digital innovation with Gigabit-speed connectivity.
The major roll out passes over 17,500 premises, bringing not just businesses but also most of the city’s homes, public sector sites and mobile masts within easy reach of the Gigabit-speed network.
The boost this investment is set to bring to the local economy is estimated to be up to £130m, helping the whole community reap the rewards that full fibre brings.
In this session Elaine Doherty (City Manager for Stirling) and Paul North (Head of Regional Sales) at CityFibre will outline the UK’s current digital infrastructure crisis, why full fibre infrastructure is so important in a service based economy, and how CityFibre are leading the charge with their national £4bn investment programme, delivering full fibre to up to 8 million premises by 2025.
Mark Hanson (Commercial Director) at Logicomms will then outline what this can mean for your business from enhancements in productivity through to new services this can enable for your workforce.
